Overview

Two days in the far south of Egypt. On day one you visit Philae Temple, the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, then stay overnight in Aswan.

Early on day two you drive through the desert to Abu Simbel, the rock temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, before returning to Hurghada. Private car, Egyptologist, hotel and meals included. From 275 € per person.

1Day 1 – 05:30 Pickup
Private drive from Hurghada to Aswan (about 450 km).
2Day 1 – Philae Temple
Temple of Isis on its island.
3Day 1 – High Dam and Obelisk
Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, lunch, overnight in Aswan.
4Day 2 – 03:00 Abu Simbel
Drive through the Nubian desert, visit both temples in the morning light.
5Day 2 – Return
Lunch in Aswan and drive back to Hurghada.
